Baptisms at St Wilfrid’s

Baptisms at St Wilfrids Church Kibworth are a joyful celebration of faith and a meaningful step on your journey with God.

Also known as a Christening (there’s no difference between the two), baptism is open to everyone – from newborn babies to adults. You can choose a regular Sunday service or a separate, more private ceremony if that suits you better.

A baptism marks the beginning of a lifelong journey with God. It’s a special moment where we respond to His love, step into the Christian faith, and receive support from the church and our wider community.

We offer christening services at St Wilfrid’s free of charge. Families sometimes spend money on gatherings, outfits, or gifts, but the church provides the service itself at no cost.
